Vaňov Waterfall

10-minute drive / 2-hour walk

The Vaňov Waterfall on the Podlešín stream is one of the highest (12 meters) and most famous waterfalls at the České středohoří range (Central Bohemian Uplands). It’s worth a visit both in the summer and in the winter when the waterfall turns into an „icefall“. 

Yet it is particularly impressive in the spring when mighty stream of water comes running down. After you get out of the cableway from the shopping mall just follow the tourist trail to the waterfall. On the way you can enjoy some beautiful views of the Labe river and the Střekov castle.
